Main Building Loyola Academy

Loyola Academy, located at 3854 Washington Ave in St. Louis has been one of my most active clients during 2003-2005. The school moved to a new facility at 3851 Washington Ave.

Loyola Academy is a Jesuit middle school for boys in grades 6 through 8, with a maximum of 20 students per grade and is based on the "Nativity School" model pioneered in the City of New York in the early 1970's. (NativityMiguel Network of Schools )

In fall of 2005 I performed about 2.5 years of IT support work in just two weeks. This included installing two unmanaged Ethernet switches replacing lightning damaged equipment, diagnosed and repaired Ethernet cable faults and installed structured wiring systems, and performed OS fresh installs on 36 Apple Macintosh Computers. On my own I located unused equipment and deployed it as a server to support vertical market education software. I replaced about 1-dozen optical mice on computers which either were missing or had malfunctioning mice. This visit provided needed stabilization of OSX and OS 9.2 based Macintosh systems and brought the current network back into service.
